This October I am getting LOUD!
I am raising money that will support babies and children who are deaf or have hearing loss, just like me.
I received my first set of hearing aids at the age of 18 months as I was born before the Newborn Screening Program started. I received my first Cochlear Implant at age 3 followed a second cochlear at age 11.
Just within the last 6 months I had to get my original implant re-implanted. The audiology and auditory learning support that I have received post re-implantation have been vital to my recovery.
Hear and Say have been a huge part of my Hearing Journey and I honestly wouldn't be where I am today without their support.
I also have and always will consider Hear and Say to be my home away from home.
