When baby Marlee was diagnosed with profound hearing loss in one ear and moderate–severe loss in the other, her parents were suddenly facing a world they had never imagined. With no family history and no roadmap, the early days were filled with uncertainty.
Hear and Say stepped in to guide them forward. Our team helped Marlee’s family understand her diagnosis, navigate their options, and prepare for the future. Just before her first birthday, Marlee received bilateral cochlear implants, opening up the world of sound and connection.
Today, at four years old, Marlee is thriving. She is bright, determined, and full of joy, and her little sister, Pippa, joins her at Hear and Say for support as their family continues the journey together.
